What's Up Wednesday: Zodiac/Caretaker Announces Price Increase for 2020
Hello again! Every Wednesday here at Poolinfloor.com we like to inform our customers of the newest updates in the swimming pool industry. Whether it be a simple "who's who" or maybe even a recent update to equipment. This week we will be discussing the latest news from Zodiac/Caretaker, including their most recent price increase and the finalization of their merger with Fluidra. Let's dive in!
This year was a busy one for Caretaker to say the least! In the beginning of the year they introduced their "Revolution" 6-Port Valve featuring the innovative QuickFlow Shifting Mechanism, maximizing the pressure delivered to each cleaning cycle. The Caretaker 6-Port will go down as one of the most customer-friendly valves on the market. In addition to the new "Revolution" Valve, Caretaker has increased production on their 5-Port "Workhorse" and 8-Port Electronic "Powerhouse" valves making major improvements to performance and longevity.
Having been under the Zodiac name for the past few years; previously owned by Polaris & Jandy, Caretaker is no stranger to re-branding. Their most recent purchase by Fluidra brings them to the same table as AstralPool, an worldwide industry leader in the Pool & Wellness category. This merger can only mean good things to come from Caretaker!
With new ownership brings new production facilities, new management, and more employees. Unfortunately this also means new pricing to combat the growing costs. Effective January 1, 2020 Caretaker will roll out a 2% increase on all products. We here at Poolinfloor.com will be updating our catalog to reflect correct costs while ensuring our customers still find the lowest prices on our site!
