IGNITION CONTROL BOARD | HDXFICBRD001

Hayward Ignition Control Board (HDXFICBRD001) is a critical component in the ignition system of Hayward HDF pool heaters. It manages the sequence of operations needed to ignite the burner safely and maintain a consistent flame for heating.

• Ignition Sequence Management:
  The board controls the startup sequence, including sending power to the igniter and opening the gas valve when conditions are safe for ignition.
• Flame Detection:
  It monitors the burner flame to ensure proper combustion. If no flame is detected, it shuts off the gas supply to prevent unsafe conditions.
• Safety Shutdowns:
  If the board detects any fault or failure, such as a flame outage or ignition failure, it automatically shuts down the system to protect against gas leaks or overheating.
• Diagnostic Feedback:
  Some ignition boards feature diagnostic LEDs or error codes to help identify issues quickly for troubleshooting and repair.
