Hayward HCXFLAT1050 is a set of two 10.5-inch laterals, designed for use in Hayward HCF Series commercial sand filters. These components are critical for maintaining effective filtration by supporting the sand bed and ensuring efficient water flow.

  • Water Filtration:
  • The laterals are located at the bottom of the sand filter, allowing filtered water to flow through while trapping sand and debris.
  • Uniform Sand Bed Maintenance:
  • They ensure the even distribution of water across the sand bed for consistent filtration performance.
  • Backwash Efficiency:
  • During backwashing, the laterals help evenly distribute water to clean the sand thoroughly and restore its filtering capacity.
